Tues. Nov. 9.
Up at 6 am. At 7 walked up Leighton p[addock] in search of the 3 missing steers + found 2, putting them in Mill p. 8.30 to 12.30 pulling foxgloves in Mill p. After dinner pulled foxgloves on Up[per] Ravine + main Spurs from 1.30 to 4. Found the last missing steer + drove him down to Mill p. In evening went on painting my Whare. Heavy shower at 6 pm + cold clear night after.
