Andy + I levelled heaps on "island" in Cow p[addock] all day. Father went up to a cattle fair at Feilding. At 5 pm I set out with cart for North Block to get posts + strainers for my homestead fences. Arrived at 6.10 + sledged 5 posts from Middle Spur in Leighton p. down + over river to the old entrance gate. Wrote Maud a note from the whare to post tomorrow morning.
