Up at 5.30 - sledged another 5 posts down from Middle Spur. At 6.45 started for home with a load of 5 strainers, 12 posts + a cwt. coil plain wire. Left 3 strainers + 5 posts on roadside at "Gladstone Hill" - home at 8.30. Father + I moved all the hoggarts [sic.] + in afternoon Andy + I picked chips off Cow p[addock]. After work drove up Gladstone Road to get the strainers + posts dropped this morning. Rode to Levin in evening.
