long one. On arrival I found no one to meet me + my imagination was just beginning to conjure up all sorts of agonising possibilities when She + Gertie arrived with trap having been detained for a few moments too long in town. Gertie took charge of my luggage + Maudie + I walked down to Grays Road. It was lovely to see Her again. After tea at Her home + some conversation with the others, we retired to the drawing room for love + mutual confidences + oh we were so happy, my pretty, adorable darling + I.
