Up early - plucked a dead ewe on Leightons p[addock] counted the 38 steers on Mill p., 6 on Leighton p. + 2 on south end + 5 which had just got out round end (thro' scrub block) of Ohau R fence on to Kay's. There are two more on Kay's. At 10am rode over to South Blk. Father, Andy, Gil, Jack arrived + we finished sowing "burns" on Intake p. Mustered the 150 hoggarts [sic] + 22 big bullocks + drove them down to Cheslyn Rise. Mr. Pearson came to stay with us today.
