Worked at 100 acre p[addock] east fence (north of Main Spur gateway). Went on clearing line + logging up round about the same. Put in corner post + the two strainers for Boulder Spur gateway. Split, trimmed + carried out 20 hinau posts. Fired several dense patches of scrub near fence-line. Found four of Narby's cows in Mill p. having got through the defective floodgate, the river being very low. Home for night. Father had sold sect[ion]. 37 to Mr. Sharman at £39 per acre, £1000 cash, remainder 5 yrs at 5 1/2%. He has also sold the "medium" lot of ewes with lambs running therein to Mr. R.
