Tues. Feb. 16.
Lovely fine sunny day with cool breeze. Uncle Bert brought 200 lambs. Gimblett 120 + we dipped 420 of our own Romneys in Cooper's Fluid Carbolic dip. After dinner Maudie + I walked down the orchard, where I took a photo of her perched on the Japanese plum tree, thro' bush + stream garden + had a good time. We weaned all our Romney lambs to-day. Father drafted out about 20 of the recently purchased elder lambs for drenching as they have begun to scour. Had a lovely evening with dearest Maud in the garden, drawing-room + dining-room.
