Larry cutting his crop of oats in CK p[addock]. Mustered "old" + "med" ewes + pickes out cull blackface lambs (41) for tomorrow's sale. At midday took a photo of Maud sitting on a couple of my first batch of wool bales.

Mr Kingdon brought up Mr. Bob Bevan & Father sold him 21 store + forward 3 yr bullocks @ £7.5.0 - a good price as some of these were UR lots brought down on Monday. Spent evening with dearest Maud in garden + dining-room.
