Overview
Tues Feb 2
Rode up to North Block - finished scrubbing on hilltop north of Shaw Summit + with Grange's help measured our overlap northward past the end of second bush contract - it came to 2 1/2 chains. The area of Grange's scrubbing contract therefore came to 36 5/8 x 2 chains (surface measurement) @ £2 per acre; total £14.14.0 - Father paid £8, self balance. I then cut a rough track from upper part of Lower Ravine Spur up gully alongside Big Hedge Spur to edge of bush (felled) ready for firing same. Then I rode over to Leighton p[addock] + worked at track up to felled bush (see Jan 23rd) and got right thro' but it will have to be widened. Plan:- [Loose sheet with sketch entitled 'Track to Leading hedge spur']
[Bottom of page] Rode down to Lancaster's in evening to see Maud.
