Father, Andy, Gil + I rode up to North Blk [block] + went on cutting scrub (see +, plan Jan 23) on hilltop near felled bush (18 chains north of Ohau Summit) + got in a good day's work. I took down the temporary barb wire cattle-stop fence ready for firing the bush. After work cut the patches of Californian thistle on Mill + Leighton paddocks + put 3 more steers on to Mill p[addock] making 34 there. Showery morning but fine afternoon + evening.
