The new man, Dick Andrew + I rode up to North Block to camp. Rode over to 100 ac[re] p[addock] fence-line on Ohau Flat, cut + split 10 hinau posts + put 8 in on terrace face down to river-side fence. The man worked fairly well but doesn't know much about job. Showers in morning - moonlit night.
