Shepherding all sheep – digging drain in SE corner of CK p[addock] (the drain at foot of rise). Took a panoramic ¼ pl[ate] photo of Stewart p. + rear [section] 42 from flat-topped rise in back 42 looking towards Queen St. In evening rode down to Bruce Road + spent evening with Maud – got permission to take her for a ride up Ohau Valley to-morrow morning.
