Gave 202 wethers on turnips in CK p[addock] a fresh cut. Rode down to Levin sale – an interesting sale – prices for fat sheep were up. 28/- was refused for big fat wethers + heavy fat bullocks fetched £12.0.6. Uncle Bert over to tea – he took Clare + Dora to Miss Duff’s dance as I was not able to go.
