Heavy driving rain till about 10.30. Drove Harry to catch Napier train, calling in at Cheslyn Rise en route. In pm rode up to Sonoma + moved ewes + lambs + steers from Top to 100 ac[re] p[addock]. Ewes + lambs look poor + ragged - the weather has been abominable + is probably responsible. Photo 1/4 pl.[ate] in kitchen.
