Percy + I drove my 30 steers down to the cattle fair + then returned for Father's two lots. Very rought weather - heavy rain + hail. The sale was a complete failure nearly every line being passed in. £]10.1.0 was bid on my lot but my bedrock was £11. In evening drove down to 20 to 8 train to meet Harry McCalman who is on furlough from Samoa. Spent pleasant evening chatting.
