Rode up to Sonoma - carried coil of

wire up to Leighton-Grange p[addock] fence + put in three posts, but had to give up the job on acc[ount] of high westerly wind which blew the guiding wire about. Spent rest of day making crossings over streams near Top-100 ac[re] fence.
