Stayed at home + took it easy. In pm Maud + I walked over to Laurie's abode to see the new baby, to wit, Margaret Chilton. On return to Grays Road, Mr. Herd + I walked down to the Strangers' Tea at the Y.M.C.A. Was introduced to Messrs Brownel + Varney who addressed the gathering. Left Y.M.C.A. rather late + met Maud + Gertie on Avenue Rd. on their way to church + accompanied them. Rev. Pratt preached on "Coveteousness". Very pleasant walk home with Maud + Gertie.
