Rode up to Sonoma. Finished cutting tut in Mill p[addock]. Carried the small gate for the Leighton-Top p. fence up to its position on hilltop. Blocked a gap under the Ohau River fence with some old boards + found 9 posts broken off in "Andrews lower part" of this fence. Started fixing river-bank protection near Ram p. with an iron tram-rail wired over bank as an anchor for willows. Took home a couple of white maires for planting. Read "Stalky + Co" by Rudyard Kipling.
