Rode up to Sonoma +drenched with Coopers' Tablets the 47 lambs + 5 poor ewes

left in sheep-yards over night. Hung the two gates on Leighton-Top + Leighton-100-ac[re] p[addock] fences. Worked at river-bank protection near Ram p., driving willow sticks into the silt + wiring them to the anchor (iron rail) - when these willows take root + sprout they should form a good mat + stop the erosion. Took home some shrubs for plating . At 4.30 took Father's cart down to Lower p. + got a load of tall live punga from face of "terrace" + carted them to "Woodside" for planting the the [sic] Hollow to buttress up a built terrace there. Cold clear night.
