Drove up to Sonoma with cart loaded with 4 sacks grass-seed (336 lbs). Moved ewes + rams from 100 ac[re] p[addock] to Ram p[addock] for tupping. Took a cartload of strainers, posts + timber home. Mr. Herd put in day cleaning up round the house - Will arrived by Napier train + slept at Cheslyn Rise as our accommodation was fully taken up.
