Tues. Dec. 28.
Mr. Herd + I drove into town in the very nice little Bradley gig which I am to buy - a bargain at £12.10.0 - later Maud, John + I drove to town + at 11 am we + the whole family went to picnic at Raupari. Photo (29) of party at lunch at end of R. Road. We walked to river + amused ourselves throwing stones + pole jumping. Photo (30) of group beside river + (31) Ralph + Winnie sleeping in funny attitudes. After tea we drove home.
