Another fine day. Laing is now ploughing the Cow p[addock]. At 9.30 D + S Morgan arrived + started shearing the hoggarts [sic], doing 117 for the day's work. Gilbert + Andy dagged the Elder hoggarts + Andy + I finished them, less 11, after tea, working till 7pm. Father returned from Wellington.
