Andy + I dagged the 133"own" medium hoggarts [sic] + shepherded the three lost of breeding ewes. At 3.30

I rode up to the North Block + put the ewes + lambs back on to Leighton p[addock] from Mill p. Worked at the Mill swamp drain for 3/4 hour using the ditch-drag. On return home put about 100 "turnip" hoggarts [sic] in night pens. Received a letter from beloved Maud setting Dec. 14th as our wedding day.
