Tues. Oct. 19.
Rode up to North Block to camp. A cold windy stormy day. Called in for Mr. Kay + with his help got two of my steers off his place. Rode up to 100 acre p[addock] east fence - ran out plain + barb wires on piece north of Boulder Spur gate + strained up. Carried out battens + put them on, less a few for lack of staples. Counted 40 steers on Mill p. + then cut + split 9 hinau posts on Middle Spur.
