Lovely fine day. Andy + I took Father's 40 1 to 2 y[ea]r steers to Levin sale (2nd time). The[sic] sold @ £4.15.0 to Mr. G H Styles. Good prices for fat cows + fat wethers, store do. + hoggarts [sic]. Tea with Father + Mr. Johnson at the "Taieri". On return home replanted 3 of the 4 willows in my east shelter belt in near 42 as they were not doing well.
