Sun. Aug. 1.
Took Harry over to sect[ion] 42 to show him my future house site. After dinner he + I rode up to North Block + walked up to hilltop via Foxtail Spur returning by Trunk Spur. Drove to church in evening. Rev Abbey very ill with appendicitis so T. G. Vincent preached. Fine clear night.
