A beautiful sunny day. Up at 5.15 am - Father + I rode down to R[ai]l[wa]y station to get the lambs purchased at Waikanae out of the trucks. Spent the day drafting + dipping sheep. Finished at 6.15 pm. A big strike of shipbuilding engineers in England - the Russians continue to harry the Germans in Poland.
