Thurs. Feb. 18.
Showers during night so firing of bush is again off. Father, Andy, Gil + I rode up to North Block - moved the 72 new 2-tooth ewes off Mill p[addock] on to hills. Finished cutting scrub on northern end of lowest flat on Stuckey's Side of Mill p. + commenced on terrace above same. Took a photo of high mass of scrub on lowest flat showing Father + Andy at work. Spent another delightful evening with my beloved sweet heart Maud - she played me some pretty violin solos + we loved each other on the drawing-room Chesterfield. Laing finished cutting oats in CK p. - very heavy crop.
