Up at 4.30 am - pressed wool. D + S Morgan continued shearing UR ewes. The others haymaking

in 10 ac[re] p[addock]. A. Morgan + W. Broughton came at 5 to help cut out UR ewes. Pressed wool after tea. Half-yearly report to Dalgety + Co.
245 lambs @ 9/- per head 300 breeding ewes @ 18/6 (in wool) 7 Romney rams @ 2 1/2 guineas.
Condition of sheep : - Lambs - good stores Ewes - fair condition. Rams - 4-tooths in splendid order.
Cattle: - 2 calves [symbol required] [symbol required] 44 yearlings £3 (stand one at £2.18) 2 3y[ea]r bullocks @ £6.10.0 Young cattle in good condition. 2 bullocks fat + forward.
Leasehold: - 370 acres. Rent £140. Rent quarterly. Value of interest £370. Am[oun]t expended in improvements during last 6 months = £100 by the Lessor. Stock to sell 240 store lambs.
Condition of property:- Final area of bush felled + ready to burn (16 3/4 ac[res] ) Subdivisional fences in progress. Last year's "burns" grassing well.
