Dick + I rode up to North Block to camp. Walked over to 100 ac[re] p[addock] fence + cleared line from gate at foot Main Spur northland to first corner, again firing by rata on line - a very sodden log. On way home found two ewes at outlet Little Ravine - one dead + the other dying - put latter in Ram p. but it died next morning. Read "Quaint Subjects of the King" by Joslin Fraser.
