Mustered the 400 Elder lambs - these are now in two lots, 1st grade 224 + 2nd

grade 172. Took 36 wasters out of the 245 grade lot + put the others on first cut of turnips in CK. p[addock]. Took 21 wasters out of 1st grade lot, ready for drenching together with the 36. The rest of the 1st grade go on new pasture in sect[ion] 38 for a few weeks yet. In afternoon shepherded ewes - all lots are very fat, almost too much so. Put out boxes of rock-salt for lambs on turnips
