Cloudy day - Father, Anstice + I rode up to North Block to cut the new line through the remaining bush on the hilltop - this time it is to follow the crest of the ridge. We started in at the south end + went right thro' to our "burn" alongside Styles putting marks to show the middle of the ridge + then worked back cutting the line to suit - we marked a few living trees which will serve as corner posts for the fence with blue raddle so that Grange (who is to do the bush) will not fell them. Got out of bush + started home at 4.20 - home at 5.10pm.
