Heavy rain during morning - weather cleared a little at midday so father + I rode up to North Block to finish sowing "burns." Anstice drove up the cart loaded with the following material:- 6 cut barb wire, 2 stumping jacks, 1 5chn coil cyclone netting, 1 coil wire netting, a big black box, swingle-tree, tin linseed oil. We found the road completily(sic) blocked in the 1st cutting by a "slip" + spent 3/4 hr clearing passage to let cart pass We started sowing ("Skyline spur) at 3.45 & finished at 4.50. Did not get home till dark, but Clifford had got in the cows for me so I got through the milking fairl comfortably. Developed some of the photos taken during Maud's stay at easter - good results
