Father + I rode down to Dalgety's Ram Fair. Gil, Jim + Anstice up to North Block to cut track through bracken on lower part of Foxtail Spur. Father bought 6 of Kebbell's Romney rams (2-tooths) at 2 guineas, + for me (my first stock) 2 Kebbell 2-tooth Romney rams at 1 guinea + 5 of Smith's (of "The Heights" Shannon + Linton) 2-tooth Romney rams at 2 3/4 guineas. My rams average 2 1/4 guineas.
