Drafted the 44 steers on sect[ion] 37 into : – 23 for sale next Friday (these are small and badly bred steers); and the remaining 21

for fatten[ing] + holding over to next year. To the 23 badly bred steers we added 7 similar making the line up for sale up to 30 = 25 store steers + 5 cull steers. Bulliman bought 7 of the fat bullocks on McDonald p[addock] at £8.10.0 to be lifted on Saturday. Shepherded all ewes to-day. Wrote to Maud in evening.
