Tues March 4

Cycled home about 9 am.  At Mother’s suggestion went to bed at 10.30 to sleep till dinner but knew nothing more till 4.30 pm.  Got up for tea at 6 and in evening related some of my adventures.  While I was away father bought the following stock : –

103 Southdown lambs @ 10/-
108 2-tooth wethers @ 12/9
90 4-tooth ditto @ 15/-
and sold : –
47 rape lambs at 12/6
31 wethers @ 17/6
4 lambs to Bulliman @ 14/6
10 rams @ 7/6
30 fat ewes @ 15/4
125 wooly [sic] lambs @ 7/6
Also three bales of wool were lifted.
