A lovely morning but later a cold south wind sprang up. Put weak hoggarts (on CK p[addock] turnips) in yards for day ready for drenching in afternoon. Father + I took the 181 “UR” ewes (crutched) up to south end of North Block. Jim + I got another load of sand for asphalt on backyard. Drenched lambs just before dark + turned them into paddock at 8pm.
