Fish collectors

Since the start of the fish collection in 1869 there have been numerous collectors that have contributed to the fish collection. These have included museum scientists in association with exploratory fishing surveys, biodiversity surveys by government vessels, collecting by MFish Scientific Observers on commercial vessels, and by numerous recreational anglers around the country.
