Great growth of grass at Woodside. Over to Cheslyn Rise to breakfast, then rode up to Sonoma mustered the 13 rams into yards one blown by flies so soaked with Jeyes moved ewes + lambs from Top + 100 ac[re]. p[addock]. to Mill p. Also cattle to same, 11 from Leighton p., rest (36) from Top P. Carried coil barb to top Leighton Spur + [marlid?] making rough wire fence across gap in Main Ravine to stop stock crossing. Tea at Cheslyn Rise + wrote to Maud.
