Wet morning. Father, Clif + Percy came over to Woodside + helped me draft the 51 steers in far 42:- 33 for sale + one waster left on far 42; 17 for up river. Took the latter over to Cheslyn Rise + branded + after dinner drove up to Mill p[addock]. Took home a batch of young shrubs + planted behind house. Read "Routledge Rides Alone" by [no name] Comfort. Weather cold + dull.
