Wet morning. Snow on crest of Arapaepae Range + in Ohau valley + think fall on back ranges. Rode up to Sonoma -

found + mustered the 50 steers in Mill p[addock] into Ram p. Shepherded lower parts of Leighton Top paddocks + 100 ac[re] p. Logged up inside Mill-100 ac. p. gate. At midday Clif + Percy rode over from South Blcok. After lunch rode up to top Leighton Spur + moved a couple of strainers to position. Drafter ouot 16 of the younger of the 50 steers, put the 16 in 100 ac. p. + took the other 34 down to Woodside. Grazed them on road for two hours + put in far 42. REplaced rushes in little horse p. with turf.
