Worked in kitchen garden planting potatoes pumpkins + marrows. Drove down to levin sale, dropping Gertie, dropping gertie in Levin. Heavy soaking rain lasted right through sale. Hoggets fetching big prices, 25/- to 33/-. Cattle not going up yet. Drove down to Mrs R Prouse's to pick up Gertie. Soaking rain recommenced in evening.
