Again down town - ticked off items of business including paying of balance owing on my hilltop section to Crown Lands Office. Visited Amy Denton in her office + later took her to dinner at Kirk's. Visited wharves + saw unloading of salt, canned soups + medicine bottle from a big sailing vessel, the Edward May. Tea at P.P. [People's Palace] + strolled down Cuba St meeting Jack

Ralph (in uniform - C1 camp) + Elfie + had a chat. Was invited up to their home for tomorrow evening but unable to stay over. Met Aunt Carrie, Agnes + Amy by appointment + went to Queen's Theatre. Star picutre "Every Girl's Dream" - enjoyable time - walked up to "Mataura" to super.
