Put up a record today in connection with mustering + dipping my sheep. Left Cheslyn Rise at 9am, rode up to Sonoma mustered ewes, rams + ewes lambs on Mill p[addock], had them over river by 10am, passed Woodside at 12.15 + reached Cheslyn Rise yards at 12.4opm. After dinner drafted into lots + dipped, + finished by

4.45. The count was :- 13 rams, 390 ewes (2 missing) + 71 ewe lambs (14 missing). One of the ewe lambs developed gid. Left rams at Cheslyn Rise for the night, put the ewes on far 42 + the ewe lambs in my little horse p. Rev + Mrs Abbey spent evening at Cheslyn Rise.
