Anniversay Day. With Frank's assistance turned, tossed + carted bay in orchard to stack near shed in little horse p[addock]. At 11.30 am Mr Kay + I drove 182 far sheep station (140 of Father's 2-tooth wethers) to Levin station + trucked them. In evening Maud, Nancy + I strolled down to the "lawn" in Reserve to see the departure of the Methodist S.S. [Sunday School] picnic held there to-day. Read "Love in a Snare" by Charles Garvice.
