Xmas Day.Maud and I received some nice presents including £1 from Father, hot water bottle from the girls, original water-colour painting from Gertie, shaving brush from Maud, books, etc.At midday, Maud, Nancy + I drove over to Cheslyn Rise for Xmas dinner.Rev + Mrs Abbey also there.In pm. took 1/4 pl[ate] photo of (1) group on East Lawn. (2) Father Maud + Clifin car + 1/2 pl of (3) big group on east side of house.Father, Clif, Maud, Viv + I drove down to Cemetery to Mother's grave.Tea + spent evening, returning home at 10pm after a happy day.
