Overview
Wed. Nov. 21
Rev[erend] Hosking left us this morning. Wet day + too wet to brand my 12 steers + Father let me put them on his 2nd 15 ac[re] p[addock]. Spent the day getting the shearing machine in working order, putting in the new flywheel key, etc, + finally got it running very smoothly. Nancy tumbled head first out of her pram to-day but fortunately did not hurt herself - she is the sweetest little darling imaginable + so bright + intelligent.
