Wet night + morning till about 10.30. Clif drove Father + I down to catch the 11.50am train to Palmerston to attend the Cattle Fair. Big yarding of cattle but mostly badly-bred + prices too high. Caught the 5.10 train home - Clif met us with car. Read "George Wendern gave a Party" by John Inglis.
