Fine day. Rode up to Sonoma. Shepherded the 17 steers on Mill p[addock], ewes + lambs on Leighton + 100 ac[re] paddocks, and moved 18 of the 20 steers on Top p. to Mill p. + ewes + lambs on Mill p. to 100 ac. p. Also stapled 55 battens on east bdy [boundary] fence. Nothing dead today but some steers + ewes rather poor in spite of plenty of feed. Wet night.
