Over to Cheslyn Rise finished battening Cow CK p[addock] fence repairing jobs. Stayed to dinner. In pm. rode up to Sonoma. Saw the 9 steers on Mill p. + put 8 more with them off Leighton p. these having gotpast end of Top p. fence. Moved ewes + lambs from Top to 100 ac[re] p. Saved a ewe cast lambing. Elsmore took away his cow from far 42 paying me as on to - morrow for cow + heifer 8 weeks grazing at 3/- per week he leaves the heifer at 1/- per week. Mosquitoes very bad tonight.
